I change ftp client and server for windows

FileZilla
is total free and fast than others I have used before.

Serv-u only allows to test 30 days.
RadFTP is a better alternative java applet (single jar file) as GUI client on JVM 1.4

Install another java 5 se JRE in solaris 8 by binary file .sh.

Not ln (links env because I don't want to impact to other old version java applications using 1.2)
